Q. Which one is better: PhotoShield or Super Shield cover?

Ans. PhotoShield is by far the best product. It is designed to be subtle and stealthy. It looks just like a regular cover that you buy form an automotive accessory shop. This way it will not attract any unwanted attention. However, when a photo-radar camera mounted on the side of the road tries to take a picture of your tag, 2 or 3 letter/number will be blurred. Fox News called it "surprisingly effective." Super Shield on the other hand has a strong silver (mirror) reflection when viewed from an angle. It is too obvious. It brings unwanted attention

Q. Which product is the best?

Ans. The PhotoBlocker spray is the best product we carry. FOX NEWS investigative news reporters and Denver Police Department tested the PhotoBlocker spray with actual photo–radar equipment. They found it to be "surprisingly effective." The spray is invisible form a distance. No one will know that you have it on. ONE CAN WILL DO SIX - FOUR PLATES. ADDITIONALLY, ONE APPLICATION IS GOOD FOR LIFE. IT WILL NEVER WASH OFF.

Q. What do you recommend? I want to protect myself 100% of the time.

Ans. We recommend that you use the PhotoBlocker Spray in conjunction with the PhotoShield license plate cover. First, spray your tag with PhotoBlocker spray to defeat cameras that use FLASH (that’s 98% of cameras). After it has dried, attach your tag back on to your vehicle and put the PhotoShield cov`er over it. The cover will protect the spray coating from debris, scratches and most of all it will defeat cameras that do not use FLASH. This way you will NEVER get a ticket.

Q. Are these products illegal?
Ans. To the best of our knowledge the PhotoBlocker spray is legal to use. It’s a clear reflective coating that no one will even know you have on. The PhotoShield cover is legal in most states/countries. In those state/countries that it may be illegal the laws are rarely enforced and the fines are negligible. Some customers who are fed up with expensive photo radar tickets ($150 - $300) are willing to risk fines of $24-$50 for using a tag cover to beat photo radar. (We do not condone or encourage anyone to run red lights. It’s dangerous and illegal. Please use our products in compliance with the laws of your locality.)
